Need of AAE: Most interactive animations treat every user the same, regardless of their intent or level of interest.
what is AAE: Adaptive Attention Engine is the animation doesn’t react to input — it Observes it, Adaptive Attention Engine in Rive that accumulates user behavior over time to infer attention states like Dormant, Observing and Focused.
Behavior explanation:
1) Dormant: User is inactive, system is calm, conserving energy, awaiting intent.
2)Observing: User is Observing, searching or signaling Interest.
3)Focused: User shows Focused Intent, like click and carefully observing or reding text.
