For one performance in a live concert by composer Quoc Trung from Vietnam, I turned the masks of Tuồng Chèo into a live instrument. Scale, distortion, animation and fire were all mapped to MIDI in TouchDesigner, so the visual could breathe with the music in real time. Full case study is in my profile.
