RAG Eval: measure retrieval before trusting an AI answer
Independent Python evaluation harness comparing BM25, TF-IDF, hybrid retrieval, and document chunking on a small synthetic corpus of eight documents and 27 questions. Relevance is derived from answer-span containment and recomputed for each chunking strategy. Fixed-size chunks without overlap make three to five questions unanswerable; overlap preserves all 27 answer spans in the included fixture. The project includes 18 tests and reports ranking metrics, cut-off saturation, and limitations. This demonstrates reproducible evaluation methods, not production chatbot accuracy.

Schema Guard: deterministic repair for structured AI output
Independent Python project for validating almost-JSON output before downstream software uses it. The repair ladder handles Markdown fences, trailing commas, Python literals, quoting errors, and related formatting failures, then validates against a schema and records repairs and coercions. On the included synthetic fixtures, parse recovery rises from about 8% to 96%; this is a fixture benchmark, not a claim about every model or real customer workload. Truncation remains a documented limitation. The project includes 38 tests and reproducible results.

FastAPI booking backend: correct failures and repeatable tests
Independent portfolio demo built with Python, FastAPI, and SQLite. The API exposes six documented routes and tests booking, cancellation, invalid inputs, missing records, and conflicting reservations. A conditional SQL update prevents claiming an already-booked slot; cancellation is idempotent. Source-derived OpenAPI documentation and an isolated test database make the project easy to inspect and run. The supplied validation record contains 26 passing tests. This is an offline demo using synthetic references, not a deployed clinic system.

Materia: responsive ecommerce website (concept)
Independent concept project for a fictional furniture marketplace. I designed and built a responsive catalogue with filtering, sorting, product quick views, cart quantities, running subtotals, and a demo checkout confirmation. Custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The image shows the desktop and mobile design. Brand, products, makers, and prices are fictional; photos are from Unsplash. The demo takes no payments. This is a portfolio example, not a paid-client result.
