What do you think of the proposed design for the cookie box?
Did that constellation line pattern come from the brand name, or was it more of a mood board find? Either way it makes the box feel premium without shouting about it.
It actually came from playing around with the possibilities of the grid. I’ve already created a few pieces within this grid system, so I wanted to explore how I could translate that language into the cookie box design as well. It wasn’t specifically derived from the brand name,...
That makes sense, letting the system lead rather than starting from the logo usually reads as less forced. Translating a flat grid piece onto a box with actual folds and edges seems like it'd behave differently than on paper, did the pattern need much adjusting once it wrapped around the corners?
Not really — since the pattern was designed as a flat 2D system, I mainly adapted the layout to the box dieline rather than changing the pattern itself. I was more interested in seeing how the same 2D language translated onto the different panels of the box.

SOLENE Paris pt. 4
SOLENE Paris is an elevated perfume house that creates fragrances that are designed to be an everyday luxury. I developed a brand identity rooted in restraint, featuring a chic wordmark, a neutral palette, and minimalist packaging.
The bottles were designed to feel less like a display piece left untouched on a shelf, and more like something you'd toss in your handbag and cherish as part of your everyday routine. Texture and natural image shots were incorporated to make the brand feel human, effortless, chic, and lived-in. The result is a brand that feels quietly luxurious and entirely timeless. SOLENE's fragrances are the kind of staple that belong in your everyday life, not just on display.
