difficult as it is to decide, i had to go with A! the complexity element is highlighted so intricately & beautifully there, definitely brings out parts of the practice i don't think are considered by many at all.

the no-clichés bar is the hard part tbh
yeah if you serious about it you can spend days even on the concept
B feels more alive to me, that jagged star shape reads more intelligent somehow than the smoother sphere in A, though someone could argue A ages better since it's less trend-driven. What clichés were you most trying to dodge with this brief?

I'd keep B: the faceted form reads as structured complexity and holds up at favicon size, where A's softer sphere risks sliding into the generic AI-orb cliche you were trying to dodge.

A seems fair but you can make it more better by just scaling the background picture a bit and I have seen your designs you can definitely find a way to make it more appealing.
