> this hit me. never thought about it like that - art that was made to make everyone same, now used to talk about finding yourself. super clever work.
What happens when propaganda designed to erase the self gets pointed at the self instead?
Soviet propaganda spent 70 years trying to erase the individual soul in favour of the collective machine. I pointed that exact visual language at the thing it was built to suppress.
I kept...
Art built to make everyone the same, now used to talk about finding yourself, is a brilliant flip and you described it better than the caption did. The halftone grain and that limited red, navy and cream palette carry the whole message. Sharp eye for sharing this.

Somewhere between Japan, surf culture, and a very unnecessary amount of matcha. 🍵🌊
This passion project was created for @designerbriefs , but the direction became a little personal.
I visited Kamakura earlier this year, and fell in love with the whole vibe. It’s Japan, but with a slower, more relaxed energy. Surf culture, cozy streets, friendly people, and that easygoing coastal feeling where nobody seems to be in too much of a rush. Basically, my kind of place. 🫶
So when I saw the brief for a Japanese matcha brand, I knew I wanted to take it in that direction. Not just traditional Japanese tea culture, but the meeting point between ritual and relaxation, structure and spontaneity, matcha and surfboards.
And that’s how KAMAKURA came to life.
A Matcha To-Go Kit designed for your post-surf pause, with ceremonial matcha, oat milk, a bamboo whisk, a reusable cup, and packaging you can plant after use. 🌱
The icon brings both worlds together, with surfboards arranged into the shape of a matcha whisk. Because, naturally, even the logo had to catch a wave.
Ride the green wave. 🌊

I you don't mind sharing, what's the display font?
Vacuum Flask is an outdoor product landing page concept built around durability, cold-weather performance, and adventure.
The goal was to make the product feel engineered for extreme conditions while keeping the experience bold, focused, and product-first. The visual direction combines an icy environment, strong typography, deep blue tones, and small orange accents for contrast.
Special attention was given to:
• a cinematic hero composition that immediately puts the product at the center
• oversized typography that reinforces the extreme outdoor positioning
• cold blue tones and snow textures that communicate the product environment
• orange accents that connect the product branding with the explorer imagery
• clear performance messaging around heat retention
• strong Buy Now and collection CTAs without competing with the main visual
• lifestyle imagery that shows the product in a real-use context
• depth, blur, snow, and lighting effects that make the presentation feel immersive
The result is a bold product experience where the environment itself communicates durability, performance, and adventure.

This feels seriously cold 🥶
Took me a second to see the fold in the mark and now I can't unsee it, perfect for a dual-screen phone store. Was the slash always part of it or did it start as two plain stacked bars?
