Which illustration works better? It's supposed to look like a magnet.
Context: This is the empty state for Homiii, a roommate coordination app. That's why I went for real looking magnets (what some roommies use to pin notes on the fridge) instead of the typical flat vector.

I will go with "PUFFY PVC STYLE".
enamel style is looking great.
Puffy PVC style feels more alive and tactile — really fits the roommate vibe!
Enamel style looks better!
At the moment, Option B looks a more interesting, since it’s better developed.
As for the first option, I think the layout needs some work. There are too many shadows; it looks more like crumpled cardboard or something like that.

Designing + building in figma & framer
Went for something really clean and structured — less noise, more control.
tried to make everything (layout, type, illustrations) feel like one system instead of separate pieces.

@EnergyCentral gave us the room to go bold, editorial, expressive, and not play it safe. Also got to have a good play using
@paper with textures for this one.
