MODUS Build - Brand Identity & Web Design
Coming from an architectural background, I approached MODUS Build with a particular appreciation for precision, proportion, and thoughtful design.
The challenge was to create a distinctive identity that communicates these values without relying on conventional construction imagery.
The concept was built around a simple typography idea: “The Measure of Good Building.” A small detail above the letter M represents a reference measure - a fixed length against which other dimensions can be measured. This subtle intervention gives the logo its meaning and connects it directly to the brand's philosophy.
I carried this idea into a cohesive visual system, bringing together typography, graphic patterns, brand applications, and website design.
For me, the most rewarding part was creating something visually refined yet purposeful, where even the smallest detail has a reason to exist, keeping the same principle as in architecture.

Behind the build: Villa Kali Ma
Villa Kali Ma is a treatment sanctuary for women dealing with trauma, mental health and addiction. I built their WordPress site in Elementor with a warm, calming design.
Under the hood:
• Built the site in WordPress from the design, page by page
• Editable templates, so the team updates content without code
• Speed work: optimized images, caching and lean code
• Responsive layouts checked on desktop, tablet and mobile
What visitors get:
• Programs, detox and a page for each condition they treat
• Three facilities and their programs
• Clinical and holistic modalities
Stack: WordPress, Figma, PHP/CSS where needed

Beautiful build. The warm, calming art direction feels exactly right for a treatment sanctuary, and editable templates so the team can update content without code is the detail clients only appreciate after handover. With a content-heavy site like this, did you reach for...
3 details I love about the Blackton Grange build (Figma)
Blackton Grange is a wedding venue and holiday home in the North Pennines. I designed their website in Figma with a romantic, countryside feel and big photography.
• Desktop layouts at 1440px with a consistent type scale, colours and components
• Clear page hierarchy and calls to action on every section
• The Farm House and communal spaces
Small decisions like these are what make a site feel premium a year after launch.
Tools: Figma (design, components, auto layout and prototyping)
Design systems for small sites: worth it, or overkill?

The romantic countryside feel really comes through, especially that warm parchment tone in the presentation. Calls to action on every section is the detail most venue sites forget, and it is usually the one that actually fills the booking calendar. On your design systems...
