Redesigned the Cadbury Celebrations pack for Diwali 🪔✨
I kept the iconic purple and gold, and added festive details: a gold scallop-pattern ring, hanging lanterns, line-art diya, sparkles, and a "Scan to send Diwali wishes" QR badge.
What if Altoids dropped a limited Halloween edition?
For this week's challenge, I gave one of the most iconic tins on the shelf a fall and spooky makeover with two seasonal flavors: 🎃 Pumpkin Spice and 🦇 Black Peppermint.
👻 What stayed recognizable:
The classic rectangular metal tin, the off-white parchment label, the stepped Victorian frame, and the bold serif wordmark with "The Original Celebrated" and "Curiously Strong Mints" locked in their exact spots.
🪦 What I twisted:
Swapped the classic red and green tins for burnt pumpkin orange and midnight matte black, traded the vintage apothecary crest for autumn foliage on one and gnarled trees with flying bats on the other, and lit the whole shot by lantern light.
This is brilliant Agustin! 🎃 Love how you kept the classic Altoids tin recognizable but made it so seasonal. Pumpkin Spice + Black Peppermint is such a bold combo - the orange tin with that tiny pumpkin illustration is chef's kiss 👌 Would totally grab this off the shelf!
What if your favorite skincare brand got a Halloween makeover? 🕷️
For this little experiment, I’m giving The Ordinary a 𝔤𝔬𝔱𝔥 alter ego.
The challenge was keeping the things that make the brand instantly recognizable: its straightforward logo and typographic editorial layout, clinical packaging, and no-nonsense aesthetic.
Instead of turning it into a completely different brand, I wanted to push those same elements into darker territory with 𝔢𝔢𝔯𝔦𝔢 tones🕸️ , gothic details, and a more mysterious product presentation.
Even in costume, you should know exactly who you're looking at.
Which brand would you love to see get a Halloween makeover next? 👻
This is genius Anita! 🕷️ Giving The Ordinary a goth alter ego but keeping it instantly recognizable - that's the real challenge and you nailed it! The black bottles with that vintage gothic border still feel so The Ordinary. Love how you kept the typographic editorial but made it spooky. The Ordinary but make it Halloween! 🖤
