Thrillsburg is a live web app for finding events in Williamsburg, VA. I worked on it part-time for two years at a small startup. I led front-end development in Vue and Quasar, built Python scrapers that pull in events automatically on AWS Lambda, cleaned up duplicate records, and put the front end, API and scrapers in Docker containers on AWS Lightsail. I also worked with a designer on the mobile-friendly layout and fixed production problems so the app stayed up.

Nice work
A live web app that maps 195 Marvel films and series across 24 universes into one tree, in story order. I designed it so a newcomer can see where to start within seconds: one clear tree, Ctrl+K search, and watch tracking that syncs with Google sign-in. Built with plain JavaScript and Firebase. No ads, no trackers.
Showing a newcomer where to start in seconds is the right goal for a tree this big. How did you decide what to show first and what to hide until someone searches?

Every tattoo photo arrives the way a tattoo is made: a violet stencil of its lines first, then the needle shades across it and the real photo appears. The studio name gets the same treatment, and a click opens any piece full size.
