I designed and built my portfolio from scratch in Vue in under three months, without having written HTML before. It works fully on mobile and has a custom design system, light and dark modes, and smooth image loading. Projects are bundled into the site when it's built, so pages load with nothing to fetch, and GitHub Actions redeploys the site every time I push a change. Thrillsburg is a live web app for finding events in Williamsburg, VA. I worked on it part-time for two years at a small startup. I led front-end development in Vue and Quasar, built Python scrapers that pull in events automatically on AWS Lambda, cleaned up duplicate records, and put the front end, API and scrapers in Docker containers on AWS Lightsail. I also worked with a designer on the mobile-friendly layout and fixed production problems so the app stayed up. Live: thrillsburg.com (http://thrillsburg.com)

Cover image for Hearth is an office-attendance app
Hearth is an office-attendance app I helped build at Viget. Teammates use it to plan and confirm which days they'll be in the office. I built the shared calendar, the office roster and the onboarding flows in React, TypeScript and Tailwind, and the calendar updates live for everyone. I also added a Slack bot so people can confirm their office days from a Slack message without opening the app. Live: hearth.vigetx.com (http://hearth.vigetx.com)

Cover image for Tarot is a web app
Tarot is a web app that scans multi-gigabyte Minecraft world saves and maps every block of a chosen type, all inside the browser. The first version uploaded files to a Python backend. Profiling showed 84% of scan time went to Python interpreter overhead, so I moved the work into the browser and split it across all CPU cores. Scans now take about ten seconds, nothing gets uploaded, and the app needs no server. It's built with React, TypeScript and Tailwind, and has an interactive map that plots up to 100,000 results.
