New issue of The Bright Method is out. This one's about a diagram I got wrong on the OpaqAI site. I put their product in the middle of everything. Moises on their team flagged it. Their whole pitch is that customers keep their own stack. The newsletter is where I write up things like this from client work. Brand, naming and websites for B2B software and AI founders. One issue a week. It passed 1,000 subscribers on LinkedIn last week. Read it on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/one-box-middle-diagram-daniel-bright-ooquf Or on Substack: https://thebrightmethod.substack.com/p/one-box-in-the-middle-of-the-diagram

Great insight! Sometimes the smallest design decisions can completely change how a product's value is communicated. Congrats on crossing 1,000 subscribers! 👏

Good catch from Moises. Putting the product at the center is such an easy default, and it says the opposite of "keep your own stack".

Respect for sharing the mistake openly. Putting the product at the center of everything is such an easy trap to fall into. Good reminder.

Owning the mistake publicly, like the product-in-the-middle diagram, is a strong trust signal for a B2B naming and brand studio. As an editor, I'd say a newsletter case like this lands even harder when each issue ends with one clear takeaway readers can reuse. Do you plan to collect these into a longer-form guide?
