The work was good. The problem was never the design - it was the layer underneath it. Semantic structure. Keyword architecture. Technical health. The things search engines read before a human ever sees the visual.

Honestly--- it’s been a mix. Most of the time the SEO conversation comes in after the site is already live, which isn’t ideal 😅
But on a couple of projects, I’ve worked with an SEO person from the start, and it made a big difference — things like site structure, page speed, and...

Early involvement changes the whole structure - not just the rankings.
Funny thing - I often end up doing the design layer myself when there's no designer on the project. I'm no pro at it and I know it 😄
