This small change made me get 100% more emails
When offering a lead magnet in exchange for an email, perceived value is key.
The more value your audience perceives, the more emails you'll get.
What did I change?
Simple: instead of saying "Comment 'X' to get [whatever]" I added a book (something tangible) to the equation.
I used the same text but showed the character holding a book.
Why this works:
A book is tangible and psychologically perceived as higher value, even if the actual asset is digital (eg a PDF).
The takeaway: Make sure your CTA is well optimized.
