Lumen AI: UI Design for an AI Chatbot

Lumen AI is an AI chatbot platform built for everyday use. The product helps users chat with the most advanced AI to explore ideas, solve problems, and learn faster.

Project scope: Full product UI design for a web-based AI SaaS application Light mode and dark mode design systems Sidebar navigation with project management and chat history Chat interface with quick-action shortcuts Responsive layout designed for desktop use

Design decisions: The layout prioritizes clarity. Every element earns its place on screen. The sidebar groups content logically so users can switch between projects and recent chats without friction. The quick-action bar gives new users immediate entry points without overwhelming the interface. Both the light and dark versions were built as complete, polished experiences rather than simple color inversions.
