Amazing choice Khunsa
Animated without a doubt for a mental health app! Motion communicates care and responsiveness — a gentle animation when you log your mood feels like the app is "listening" to you. Static feels cold in comparison, especially for something as emotionally sensitive as mental health. The UI design itself is gorgeous though!

That was exactly the goal. I’m honestly tired of seeing boring, dashboard-like UIs in mental health apps.
Wanted something more cheerful and calming, something that instantly uplifts your mood the moment you open the app. Glad it resonated well.

Animated UIs help users structural hierarchy of the app, reducing cognitive load. The animated version is superb, especially if it is slower. Slow animations can slow down the heart rate of users to help with anxiety. I think your design is awesome! one goat for you🐐

I think animations should be minimal. These animations are too much for a mobile app. so for now i will choose static 😉

Animated works better, but as of now it seems a little extra animated, maybe animate sections instead of individual elements
They both feel clean, minimal and fresh. But the static one gives more mental stability and calmness considering that it's a mental health app. I feel keeping it static and adding micro interaction ( e.g. Scale on hover / pop on hover) to the icons/widgets would be better.
