We created a full game about what it feels like to run a studio and deliver projects on time. (Is not super easy 😜)
Check out Studio Run, on our website https://thelittlelabs.com/work/studio-run - to see how we handled the illustration, animation, logic, product design, and sound all in one cohesive build. In Rive!
We’ve gotten really great feedback from sharing it on social media, and we’re excited to bring it into this Rive Challenge. #gameswithrive
Hope you all enjoy it!
Can't help but root for you guys here too! Loved that game from the very start :))
This is such a clever concept — turning the chaos of studio life into an actual game is brilliant! The illustration and animation style are so cohesive, and building it all in Rive is impressive. Good luck with the Games With Rive challenge!
thanks so much for the kind words!
Your welcome 😊
Amazing!!! 😍
This game turned out amazing! It was an honor to participate in the production and see such an incredible result!
What an incredible project! I'm rooting for you guys!
I love everything about this game! Was a fan since you released it and today seeing your submission reminded of it so...I started my day playing it with my boyfriend. He went pretty far but I am a looser :D
get ready on the refresh!
@Ana Catita try now, and win :)
So cool, it took me a whie to understand what was an obstacle and what was an actual powerup/collectible on the scene, but other than that, pretty amazing!
thanks Lucas! appreciate the powerup feedback!
make your own character for our game! https://www.instagram.com/p/DU8uuS1E8GV/

We just made the game easier, (we listen) and of course we added Santa, late from Christmas deliveries! But ready to run a studio. https://thelittlelabs.com/work/studio-run

This is one of the things that fascinates me, and seeing it done exceptionally with attention to the tiniest details makes it an even better experience. Way to go!
This is brilliant. Way more engaging than a traditional case study.
we are just so proud 🥹 challenges started coming in to design your own character. https://www.instagram.com/p/DVJXb0Zjt5Q/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

The game was so absurdly good that, at first glance, I thought it was an ad for some pro mini game, lol! Then I realized it was an entry, and I was blown away.
An amazing project! I played it a lot on the Rive Marketplace

Spent the weekend running 3 Claude sessions in parallel on my mobile cop-chase game in Unity 🚓
One restyled the HUD, one built a garage, missions & new enemies (SWAT, tanks, a helicopter), one is making new maps.
They messaged each other to avoid clashing. Effective but it killed me 5hr limit in no time.
Changes:
• New HUD
• Garage: 7 cars, missions, levels
• Wrecked cops burst into coins
• SWAT, tanks, roadblocks, a helicopter
• Nitro, shields, magnets, EMPs
• Sandstorms
Next up: Palm Beach + Neon City at night levels
3 sessions coordinating with each other, wild
I tested Opus 5.5 and had it build an arcade game in Unity using the CLI and Claude Code.
The game is called Heatwave and is a quick and fun little police chase game.
Of all the games I've made, this is actually the one I enjoy to test the most.
I'm terrible at it, but it's fun.
Wanting another run even when you are bad at it is a pretty good sign. What took more iteration in Heatwave, the driving feel or the police chase behavior?
