How much can you remove before an idea disappears?
The Aphrology mark started with the Venus de Milo.
I progressively stripped away detail, keeping only the curves necessary to suggest Aphrodite while simultaneously constructing the letter A, the initial of the brand.
The final symbol lives between recognition and abstraction.
Aphrodite → A → Aphrology.

Beautiful restraint in this mark. The reduction from figure study to a compact symbol keeps the origin story present while giving the identity a strong, memorable silhouette.

Thank you so much for your support! It took me quite a bit of time and paper to find a balance, the idea was good, but it was never quite right. With the benefit of two full days of rest, the final sketch almost came together on its own.

Zarira is a fashion brand concept exploring the balance between traditional Indian aesthetics and a more modern, understated visual language.
For the identity, I wanted to move away from the overly ornate visual language often associated with Indian fashion brands and create something that felt refined, expressive and distinctly Indian without being literal.

The result is a brand world that feels rooted in tradition, but designed for the present.
