Starting July 27, product titles in most categories need to be 75 characters or less.
Amazon is also rolling out Item Highlights, giving sellers another 125 characters to communicate things like materials, use cases, and other useful product details.
For sellers, this means we can't try to put everything into the title anymore.
The title needs to focus on the most important product information, while Item Highlights can carry some of the supporting details.
If you manage Amazon listings, I'd recommend reviewing your titles now rather than waiting for Amazon's recommendations to make the changes for you.
Shorter titles don't mean less SEO.
It means being more selective about what deserves the space.
