Every month, sellers defer the same five reports because they don't feel urgent. And every month, the leaks grow a little wider.
I've made it a rule: once a month, 30 minutes, five reports. No exceptions, no excuses, no "next quarter." Here's what I check:
Reimbursement Report — unclaimed credits for lost or damaged inventory.
Stranded Inventory — unsellable stock that still racks up fees.
FBA Fee Preview — wrong dimensions mean wrong charges.
Return Reasons by SKU — the cheapest product feedback you'll ever get.
Inventory Age Report — old inventory is a storage fee time bomb.
That's it. Thirty minutes. Sometimes I find $150. Sometimes $2,000. But I almost always find something — pure margin that was already owed, or costs that were finally stopped.
The sellers who do this consistently keep more of what they earn. The ones who skip it stay busy and never understand why their bank account doesn't match the dashboard.
