A fully realized 3D model of a futuristic medieval reinterpretation of Renaissance parade armor. The design carries glowing gold and crimson circuitry, sharpened angular plating, an extended pleated skirt, and a reworked helmet silhouette, all built and refined across multiple iterations in FLORA and Blender.
The model preserves the core storytelling elements of its source: a central breastplate composition, narrative shoulder scenes, and repeated royal badge motifs, translated into a new material language while keeping the original structure and proportions intact.
This piece was created as part of FLORA's Museum Challenge, reimagining the Armor of Henry II, King of France (ca. 1555) from The Metropolitan Museum of Art's public archive. A full video walkthrough of the design process is available here: CREATION WALKTHROUGH VIDEO
