Baboonz® — Art Toy & Collectible System.
Baboonz is a contemporary art toy inspired by the ancient Egyptian connection between the baboon and Thoth, the god of wisdom, knowledge, and writing.
The project reinterprets this ancient symbolism through a contemporary collectible design language, positioning Baboonz between character design, contemporary art, fashion, and product design.
The collection includes the sculpture, a premium satin-finish packaging system, and a TCG-inspired collectible card with metallic and holographic details, creating a cohesive physical identity and expanding the character’s lore.
The goal was to make Baboonz feel museum-able — a modern collectible art object that connects ancient artifacts with the way we collect and experience objects today.

1) The largest exhibition piece is 2 meters tall.
2) The smallest collectible piece is 25 cm tall.
Baboon and Thoth is such a deep cut of a reference, most collectible drops just chase whatever's trending. What almost got left out of the final design that you really wanted to keep in?
The connection to Thoth. It was too important to the story to make it just a visual reference.

i love my quiet mornings in my bedroom-office, my two cats keeping me company sometimes. So I built this room around my ideal space: soft natural light coming in through the window, balanced by moody lamps (fluorescents can stay far away lol). My little globe lamps and orange desk lamp all stay on even as daylight comes in, so the room never goes flat.
The objects are all bright colors, checkered patterns, and little trinkets that reflect how I actually create: the green chair, the blue vases, stacks of design books, the gallery wall. 🍄🟫🏁🧃🧡🌀
