In a world where AI can generate almost anything, what makes creative work memorable isn't the tool. It's the person deciding why it exists, what it should say, and when it finally feels right.
Hando started with a simple belief: the most valuable part of an object isn't its flawless finish, but the way it fits the hands that shape and use it.
Every prompt, every reference, every edit, and every decision was guided by that idea. Envato helped us explore, iterate, and move faster.
But the human judgment behind every choice gave the project meaning.
That's what Hando is about.
The line about the person deciding why the work exists really lands. How did that belief shape the creative direction for Hando?
Thanks!! We were inspired by Marcel Duchamp's belief that the mere choice of an object is, in itself, a creative act. AI can generate endless possibilities, but choosing what deserves to exist is still a human decision. In the end, the creative always has the last word

a few days! figuring out the concept took the longest. After that it was mostly about bringing it to life

The idea that an object's value comes from how it fits the hands that use it is a strong anchor for the whole project, keeps it from feeling like a generic AI showcase. Good discipline sticking to that one belief throughout.

Absolutely. The ability to translate a rough sketch into a refined visual while preserving the intended pose, composition, and creative direction could make the ideation process much faster. It feels especially useful for designers who want to communicate an idea visually before spending time refining every detail. Definitely a feature worth experimenting with in a real workflow.

Can AI understand your rough sketches?
ChatGPT just added a new sketch feature to its new Images 2.5 model, so I tried it with extremely simple sketches and short prompts to see how well it could understand my intention.
And honestly, I actually like it!
This can be helpful especially when you already have a specific pose or composition in mind and want to quickly turn that rough idea into something more refined.
