for my "3rd" submission i wanted to explore more with the 4-Stepped bar effect with @Invideo , so i made this nice edits
i had different clips i compiled in a compilation video, then placed the effect on the clips to make this edit.
how i did it? (check the comment section below, for my workflow)
Vicky, my Agent Two AI built the bar effect, then i told Vicky to place the bar effect on the first 2 seconds of every incoming clips
i prompted Vicky to build the bars in a rectangular-horizontal box,. with rounded corners.
i also told Vicky to add the SFX Sound you hear as the Bars lands/reveals, and i loved how that sounds lands alongside the bar effect.

WARNING: This video contains strong strobe effects. ⚡
I recently watched The Moment, the Charli xcx mockumentary. I really liked the strobing typography layered over the footage, so I tried recreating it for the Contra × @Invideo challenge.
Everything was done directly in the new invideo Editor timeline. Although, to be fair, Agent Two did most of the work. I supplied the assets and creative brief, then watched it go.
And it did a freaking good job. Not perfect on the first try, but the fixes only needed a conversation in chat.
Watch the original effect in The Moment’s official teaser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-LlnenSEF4
This reel for @afterluc was a chance to play a little more with the visual language we usually use for his content.
It’s a fun “get ready with me” piece that opens with a teleport effect and moves into a faster, more playful edit. Since Luc’s profile normally leans toward a cleaner and more minimalist aesthetic, I pushed the typography further here, using bolder text treatments and more expressive motion without losing the visual identity we’ve built around his content.
The goal was to make the edit feel energetic and entertaining while still polished, using pacing, text, sound and small visual moments to support his personality rather than overwhelm it.
I really enjoy projects like this because they show how a consistent visual identity doesn’t have to mean doing the same thing every time. Sometimes the right choice is knowing exactly where you can break the rules a little.
Role: Video Editing, Motion Design, Text Animation, Sound Design, Color & Visual Storytelling
The jump cut into the teleport with the bold yellow OUTFIT type feels snappy. Good fit for a get ready with me reel.
that's one good use of the effect, a nice way to use it
nice work
in this video you would see that, i created a video effect i call "Staggered Splice" using the Invideo AI editing agent (Agent Two).
a horizontal and vertical splice bar effect, that flashes while entering the next clip
