A founder came to me recently with a brand that looked great. Clean logo, nice colors, solid packaging mockups. And it still wasn't converting.
This happens more than people think. Here's the pattern I keep seeing:
The identity was built around what the founder liked, not what the customer needed to feel to trust the brand and buy it The visuals shifted from project to project — packaging, social, website all "on brand" in isolation, but with no system tying them together There was no answer to the real question: why should someone choose this over the five other options next to it on the shelf
A logo isn't a brand. A brand is the reason someone picks you at $12 over the version next to it at $9.
That's why I always start with strategy before a single visual gets made — positioning, the customer's actual decision-making moment, what the brand needs to communicate to earn that pick. The identity and packaging come after, built to carry that answer through every touchpoint.
Most brands look good. Few actually sell. If yours is stuck in the first category, I'd love to help you get to the second — message me and let's talk about what's not landing.
