A custom code component for scroll-driven depth is a big step up from Framer's built-in scroll effects, and it shows in how continuous the motion feels. How much of that transition timing did you have to hand-tune versus getting close enough with easing presets?

Quite a bit was hand-tuned. The easing handled the interpolation, but the scroll ranges, card overlap, depth, scale and dimming all needed manual adjustment to make the stack feel continuous.

impressive work..👍

The stack reads as genuinely continuous, which is the hard part. Where these usually break is input parity: a fast trackpad fling versus a notched mouse wheel can skip the card overlap you tuned so carefully. Clamping scroll velocity per frame keeps the depth transition intact on both. Nice piece of work, Yurii.

Thanks, Asif, really appreciate that. Getting the stack to feel continuous across different scroll speeds was one of the trickiest parts of the component. Great point on per-frame velocity clamping too, that’s exactly where this kind of interaction can break.

There’s something really satisfying about how this moves from atmosphere to information without feeling like a typical hotel website. Great work! 👏

Thanks, Shamim, really appreciate it. That balance between atmosphere and information was exactly what I was aiming for.
