The situation escalated into a formal dispute, and we eventually resolved it with a 50/50 split.
No names. No drama. Just a real scenario many freelancers face.
My takeaway:
- Clear scope is everything.
- Iteration limits matter.
- Transfer of ownership doesn’t always mean emotional closure.
