Case Study: VP.Design — Luxury Automotive-Inspired Shopify Redesign
Rebuilt the storefront for VP.Design, a premium furniture and decor brand (engine coffee tables, Ferrari-inspired office chairs, automotive wall art) into a dark, cinematic luxury experience.
What I did:
Complete visual overhaul moving away from a generic template feel toward a dark, high-end aesthetic inspired by luxury watch and automotive brands
Built a scroll-driven hero experience full-bleed video intro, curtain-reveal loading sequence, and scroll-scrubbed animation using GSAP ScrollTrigger and smooth-scroll libraries
Designed custom sections for parallax product showcases, featured collections, and brand storytelling blocks
Shifted the sitewide palette to a graphite and bronze color scheme to match the premium product catalog
Integrated AI-generated video content into the design to reinforce the automotive/luxury theme
Fully mobile-responsive build, delivered on a tight deadline
Why it matters:
For a brand selling $30k+ statement furniture pieces, the site has to feel as premium as the product. This wasn't a template swap — it was a ground-up rebuild of the storefront's motion, pacing, and visual language to match brands like Jacob & Co. and Richard Mille.

Focus — Immersive Visual Storytelling Experience 🌺✨
Focus is a bold digital concept created for a curated platform that brings together visual stories, creative direction, and immersive editorial content.
The goal was to make every screen feel emotional, cinematic, and highly engaging while keeping the browsing experience clear and intuitive. The visual direction combines deep pink tones, layered imagery, soft transparency, and oversized typography to create a strong sense of atmosphere from the very first interaction.
Special attention was given to:
• a dramatic hero section built around visual storytelling and emotional impact;
• editorial compositions that blend photography, typography, and motion-inspired elements;
• responsive mobile screens designed for immersive browsing and content discovery 📱;
• story cards that help users explore collections through clear visual hierarchy;
• soft glassmorphism effects and layered gradients that add depth without overwhelming the interface;
• simple navigation and directional controls that keep the experience intuitive;
• a scalable visual system suitable for creative portfolios, digital magazines, and art-focused platforms.
The result is a memorable digital experience that turns content discovery into something more expressive and immersive — helping every visual story feel distinct, emotional, and worth exploring 🎨

A hero section is more than just a beautiful screen. It sets the tone for the entire experience and shapes the user's first impression within seconds.
Here we explored two approaches. The first keeps the focus entirely on the featured product, while the second introduces supporting collection previews to provide more context and encourage exploration.
Both communicate the same message, but they guide attention differently.
