Here's my first-90-minutes audit process — the same one I run on every account: 1. Count the active ads. Then ask why that number exists. 40+ ads running simultaneously means one of two things: aggressive testing (rare) or no one is actually in charge of creative direction (very common). The number tells me everything before I watch a single frame. 2. Sort by launch date. Look for the copy-paste. If what they were running 6 months ago looks identical to what's running today — the team stopped seeing the creative the way a stranger sees it. They normalized into blindness. This is so common it's almost industry standard. That's a problem. 3. Watch only the first 2 seconds of every video. Nothing else. First pass: hooks only. Does it activate a problem? Create genuine curiosity? Or does it open with a logo and a product shot and a font I've seen 400 times? Most accounts fail here. Before the 3-second mark. 4. Map the angles. Not the variations — the actual angles. A variation is the same concept with a different thumbnail. An angle is a completely different psychological reason someone would buy. Most brands have 30 ads and 2 angles. They think they're testing. They're not. 5. Screenshot the weakest hook in the library. That screenshot leads the debrief.
