BRED FOR. is a fictional dog brand built on one idea: every breed was bred for a job, and the instinct never left. Collies herded sheep, poodles retrieved ducks, Yorkies hunted rats, Dalmatians ran beside fire carriages, so each product turns a breed's original work into an everyday object. Style 01 is built from Japanese and Korean folk art found at the Cleveland Museum of Art, The Met, LACMA and the Rijksmuseum, and designs the products as soft, deadpan designer objects. Style 02 is built from early colour autochromes and a 1914 lithographic poster from the Rijksmuseum and the Albertina, and turns every scene into a modern fashion campaign with an archival feel. The two Styles were chained with Edit image: Style 01 products placed into Style 02 scenes, every headline rewritten in the brand's dry, deadpan voice. The strongest images were selected, upscaled and finished with a logo made in Recraft Logo Maker. Style 01 (products): https://www.recraft.ai/styles/b8e1a6b6-ae61-49db-907d-74229530b596

The lineup. Six breeds, six jobs, six products. Every piece of equipment checked in. The corgi is waiting for its things.

Yorkshire terriers were bred to catch rats in mills and mines. The rats moved on. The Yorkie didn't. Costume "Catsuit", plush rat included.

Dalmatians ran beside horse-drawn fire carriages. Today the biggest fire in the house is breakfast. Harness and leash "Firehose".

Bichons sailed with Mediterranean crews as ship dogs. Now the sea is a weekend thing. Carrier "Porthole", one round window, best seat on the dock.

The staff room. Every dog gets a locker, every locker holds work gear. Staff only.

Corgis herded cattle by nipping at their heels. No cattle in a two-bedroom flat, so: Ball set "Herd". Five cows, one corridor, no breaks.

Border collies were bred to manage sheep. This one still does, mostly at dinner. Feeder "Sheepbowl": two bowls, one shepherd.

Poodles were bred to retrieve ducks from icy water. The haircut was for swimming, not for selfies. Today's job: one duck, one plate, zero water. Plush toy "Duckbone".

What a clever concept: giving every breed a job and turning that heritage into deadpan designer objects. The muted autochrome palette against the folk-art product shots feels so cohesive, and the dry headlines tie the whole campaign together. How did you decide which breeds made the final lineup?

Thank you! I only picked breeds that were definitely bred for something specific.

Great concept. Giving every breed a job and a distinct voice gives the whole brand a clear story. The two styles feel really distinct but still connected. Nice work, Sveta.
