Here's the version with a closing thought added:

I had the privilege of working for a client on a graphic poster design for their event. The brief was straightforward on the surface keep it simple — they wanted a design that wouldn't just get a glance, but would make people pause and take it in a little longer than usual.
Throughout the process, I was focused solely on intentionality, from composition to typography to the placement of event information, so the client had a clear and accurate idea of what the final design should look like well before completion. Whilst in my creative process the goal was to strike a balance between simplicity and visual depth — nothing overdesigned, but nothing forgettable either.
The result well a piece that strikes a balance whilst communicating clearly at a glance while still rewarding a second look, which is exactly what the client set out to achieve.
Let me know what you think, and how you feel about this piece.
