THE GIRL BENEATH THE EARTH - Gothic Horror Thriller Cover Design
A chilling tale buried for centuries — and now she’s clawing her way back.
I designed this cover to capture pure dread and gothic atmosphere:
Concept: A girl emerging from a cursed burial pit, trapped between worlds
Mood: Dark, claustrophobic, ancient evil awakening
Color Palette: Earthy blacks, blood reds, and ghostly moonlight
Typography: Distressed serif for THE GIRL BENEATH THE EARTH to evoke cracked tombstones
Created for author Ahmer Anis. This is part of my ongoing horror thriller series including Van Helsing & Dario Vega.
Tools: Midjourney + Photoshop + Typography refinement
Genre: Gothic Horror / Supernatural Thriller
Available for custom horror, thriller & dark fantasy covers.

From the texture of a clay court to embroidered details on tennis balls, the goal was to bring the brand identity into a more tangible, realistic setting.

The SS mark stamped into the tennis ball felt is a great detail. Looks very real on the clay court.

I'd lean toward the single palette. The cooler gradient keeps the contact icons readable, while the magenta in the second one starts competing with the logo mark. Worth proofing the neon on paper too, since it can shift a lot in CMYK.
