Over 70% of viewers browse YouTube on their mobile phones. If your thumbnails are cluttered, low-contrast, or use tiny text, they disappear in a crowded feed.
When designing thumbnails, I focus strictly on three rules to maximize CTR (Click-Through Rate):
1ļøā£ High Contrast: Grabbing attention instantly with aggressive background-to-subject separation.
2ļøā£ Extreme Simplicity: Only 2 to 4 words max so it's readable on a tiny smartphone screen.
3ļøā£ Emotional Hook: Giving the viewer an instant psychological reason to wonder "what happens next?"

DataFile is a modern data management and storage brand designed to represent security, accessibility, and structured information flow. The objective was to create a distinctive visual identity that communicates reliability while maintaining a clean, technology-driven aesthetic suitable for SaaS platforms, cloud solutions, and enterprise software products.
The final identity combines a custom symbol inspired by layered data architecture with a contemporary wordmark, creating a memorable and scalable brand system.

Many technology brands rely on generic cloud or database symbols. The goal was to develop a unique visual language that feels innovative while remaining instantly recognisable.
