Rendmotion: The Browser-Based Motion Design Studio

Rendmotion is a browser-based motion design tool inspired by After Effects. Built with Figma Make, it empowers anyone to create, script, and export native MP4 animations without hardware limits or expensive paywalls.

Professional motion design is currently broken. It is gatekept by steep learning curves, expensive monthly subscriptions, and heavy desktop applications that require supercomputers to run smoothly.

I built Rendmotion to democratize motion graphics. It brings frame-accurate timelines, bezier easing, AI generation, and native WebCodecs MP4/WebM exporting directly to the browser. With built-in Unsplash, Iconify, and Freesound integrations, you have an entire studio at your fingertips.

My absolute favorite feature in Rendmotion is the Scripting Engine. Users can download the rendmotion-scripting-guide.md file directly from the app, feed it to any AI agent (like ChatGPT or Gemini), and prompt the AI to create an animation. You can paste the generated script back into Rendmotion, and it will instantly calculate the math and drop the exact keyframes onto your timeline. It is true, seamless AI-to-motion generation.
