Very excited to finally show off my first complete project as a full-time freelancer: The brand identity for Carbon Valley Consulting.
In starting his own new venture as a Fractional CTO helping companies integrate various technologies (yes, including AI), my longtime friend and colleague Chadsten Lowery needed a brand separate from himself that could grow as he and his clients do.
Over a fast and furious week we explored, created, approved, and refined a mark loosely based on the shape language of the initials C.V.C that would would also suggest growth, improvement, and precision, without falling (too much) into the cliches of "tech-branding".
The wordmark also split out "consulting" so that Carbon Valley could operate independently or swap consulting for other follow-ups in the future if the company grows to encompass additional business solutions.
While I'm going to be showing off more deliverables outside of the logo design in future posts, the new site is also now live at CarbonValleyConsulting.com .
