Project Title
SEO for Visa & Corporate Services | Post-Migration SEO & Google Rankings
Project Description
Visa and corporate services company in the UAE → website migration with 253 tracked keywords showing no rankings → rebuilt organic visibility through SEO monitoring and optimization → increased Google clicks 3.85×, impressions 6.67×, and brought 55 keywords into the search results within 2.5 months.
Description
First Visa Service is a visa, tourism, and corporate services company operating in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE. The website had recently undergone a migration, and the project started at a point where organic visibility had to be established almost from scratch.
The main objective was to monitor the website's recovery after migration, rebuild visibility in Google Search, and gradually move priority keywords into higher positions.
I managed SEO optimization, post-migration monitoring, keyword tracking, and organic performance analysis using Google Search Console and Ahrefs Rank Tracker.
Challenges
The website had been migrated approximately one month before the first reporting period. Because of this, the initial SEO data was incomplete and search engines were still recrawling and reprocessing the website.
The first Ahrefs snapshot showed:
253 tracked keywords with no rankings
0% Share of Voice
no established ranking visibility across the tracked semantic core
46 monthly organic clicks
3.09K Google impressions
36.9 average position
The main challenge was to determine whether Google would gradually restore and establish visibility after the migration rather than evaluating performance too early.
What I Implemented
I focused on post-migration SEO monitoring, Google Search performance analysis, and keyword ranking development.
The work included:
monitoring organic clicks and impressions in Google Search Console;
tracking average Google positions;
monitoring 253 keywords through Ahrefs Rank Tracker;
identifying keywords moving out of the No Rank status;
analyzing keyword distribution across Top 3, Top 20, and Top 50;
monitoring new search queries receiving impressions;
evaluating the recovery of organic visibility after migration;
identifying opportunities to move ranking keywords toward higher positions.
I used comparable reporting periods to separate normal post-migration fluctuations from actual SEO growth.
Optimization Approach
The initial priority was not simply to increase traffic, but to determine whether the website was successfully regaining visibility after migration.
During the first reporting period, 201 new queries began receiving impressions, expanding the website's presence in Google Search. The semantic coverage included queries such as "visa service," "Schengen tourist visa," "tourist visa USA from Abu Dhabi," and "UAE business registration."
As more keywords began ranking, the focus shifted toward improving their positions and moving them from the Top 50 into the Top 20 and eventually the Top 10.
This approach allowed the project to build search visibility progressively rather than judging performance only by short-term traffic changes.
Results
According to Google Search Console, the website achieved substantial growth between the first and final control periods:
Organic clicks: 46 → 177 (+285%, 3.85×)
Impressions: 3.09K → 20.6K (+567%, 6.67×)
Average position: 36.9 → 29.4
Ranking keywords: 0 → 55
The final Ahrefs Rank Tracker snapshot showed:
2 keywords in Top 3
14 keywords in Top 20
54 keywords in Top 50
55 keywords with established positions
21.7% of the tracked semantic core with rankings
Several keywords achieved strong early positions. For example:
"easiest schengen visa from uae": 23 → 1
"switzerland visa dubai": new position 1
"express schengen visa": new position 11
"switzerland visa appointment dubai": new position 14
"urgent schengen visa": new position 15
"greece visa dubai": 49 → 19
Business Impact
The project established a new foundation for organic search growth after the website migration.
The client gained:
3.85× more monthly Google clicks;
6.67× higher search impressions;
55 ranking keywords from an initial 0;
2 keywords in the Top 3;
14 keywords in the Top 20;
54 keywords in the Top 50;
significantly broader visibility across relevant visa and corporate service queries.
The website also generated 177 organic clicks per month by the final Google Search Console period, compared with 46 at the first post-migration control point.
Conclusion
The main SEO challenge was rebuilding search visibility after a recent website migration, when all 253 tracked keywords initially had no established rankings.
Rather than evaluating the migration based on the first month alone, I monitored the gradual recovery of search visibility through Google Search Console and Ahrefs Rank Tracker.
Within approximately 2.5 months, 55 keywords started ranking, Google clicks increased from 46 to 177 per month, and impressions grew from 3.09K to 20.6K.
Final result: 3.85× growth in organic clicks, 6.67× growth in impressions, and 55 ranking keywords established after the website migration.
