Designed and built a fully automated post-purchase email flow to help a new e-commerce brand collect authentic Trustpilot reviews while protecting their public reputation from day one.
The Challenge The brand had zero reviews and no system to collect them. They needed social proof quickly, but couldn't risk negative feedback going public before they'd had the chance to address issues internally.
What I Built A 2-email Klaviyo flow triggered on order fulfillment with an embedded 5-star rating poll. The poll routes customers based on their selection:
• 1–3 stars → Private Google Form for internal feedback ("what went wrong?") • 4–5 stars → Directly to the brand's Trustpilot page for a public review
Key design decisions: → Triggered on fulfillment, not order placement (accuracy) → 5-day delay before first email (genuine product experience) → Follow-up sent only to non-clickers after 5 days (deliverability) → In-email poll to reduce friction before intent is captured
Results ✔ 7 verified Trustpilot reviews collected ✔ 6 five-star ratings · 1 four-star rating ✔ 0 negative reviews published ✔ Fully automated — runs on every order with no manual effort
