I first tried Rive in October 2021. I immediately fell in love with it and saw its potential, because even back then it was clear that Lottie technology was reaching a dead end and that interactive animation needed a different approach.
At the time, not many people knew about Rive, and I often had to explain just how great this tool was. Five years have passed since then. Rive has grown incredibly and become an industry standard.
Recently, I took second place in the Rive Impossible UI Challenge, and today I received the Rive Expert badge. It’s an honor for me to receive it.

Second place in the Impossible UI Challenge plus the Expert badge in the same stretch is a great run. Curious what tipped you from Lottie to Rive back in 2021, was there a specific project where Lottie just couldn't keep up, or was it more a gut feeling about where things were headed?
