Inspired by the great gamification of Duolingo (https://www.linkedin.com/company/duolingo/) and powered by Rive (https://www.linkedin.com/company/rive-app/) animations, I wanted to experiment with making math practice feel more engaging and interactive.

Another step forward for my Rive (https://contra.com/company/rive) × Contra (https://contra.com/company/contra) Broadcast Challenge project! 🚣
I've added several new features that bring the experience closer to a professional live rowing broadcast while keeping everything fully interactive.
✨ What's new:
• Real-time 500m split tracking – as soon as the race leader reaches each 500m checkpoint, the split time is recorded. Every following athlete automatically displays both the time gap and distance gap to the leader, calculated entirely in real time using Rive Scripting.
• Interactive Results Board – displays the final standings with athlete names, flags, and finish times. Clicking on any athlete instantly updates their portrait.
• Custom World Rowing transition – a new transition overlay designed to connect scenes with a polished broadcast look.
• Lower Third Athlete Introduction – broadcast-style introduction graphics for every competitor.
• Fully data-driven interface – every value, image, name, flag, timer, and leaderboard is connected through Data Binding, making the entire broadcast interactive without manually animating each state.

I built a Men's Single Sculls Live Score Concept for the @Rive × @Contra Broadcast & Livestream Challenge.
The idea was inspired by the atmosphere of the FIFA World Cup and the energy of Norwegian rowing fans cheering their athletes down the course. I wanted to bring that same excitement into a live broadcast experience for rowing.
Built with Rive Scripting, Data Binding, and nested View Models, the interface reacts instantly to live race data without manual animation.
