Reading the Ge'ez letter as two figures sharing a table gives the mark a story that still works with the name removed. During simplification, was there a stage where it got too abstract to read as people?

Yes, that was an important balance to maintain. I wanted to simplify the form without losing the idea of two figures sharing a table. The goal was to make the mark minimal while keeping its meaning and cultural character.
