Limen is my first single. This is the workflow video for its music video.
The entire visual world was generated inside Envato — portraits, organic textures, water. I worked in a single locked palette pulled from the cover art, and generated dozens of variations of every element until the material felt right rather than merely impressive.
My Human by Design moment: the film turns on one image — a root that snaps. AI produced dozens of versions of that break. Every one of them was technically clean. But the break isn't a visual effect, it's the meaning of the piece: the thing that holds you up is the same thing that holds you down, and cutting it costs something. So the decision was never which render looks best — it was at which exact second does it break. I placed it at 2:57, on the one bar where the drums drop out entirely. AI had no way to know that bar mattered.
Workflow: I separated the track into stems and built an expression-driven control rig in After Effects, so every visual parameter is read from the music itself — no keyframes on the reactive layers. Cut points are locked to the measured beat grid (130.085 BPM), and the colour grade follows the stem energy: cold and desaturated at the breakdown, warm and contrasted at the peaks.
Envato became my toolkit. The judgment stayed human.

This is such a great idea. I love that the key decision wasn’t about which version looked best, but about exactly when the root needed to break. Building a high end brand used to require an entire agency, a massive budget, and weeks of studio time. In seven days, I used Envato as my end to end toolkit to build Fronno Pizza from absolute scratch. Developing the complete visual identity, packaging mockups, interior branding, and a broadcast-ready commercial. But raw generation is just noise until a human steps in to direct it.
My primary "Human by Design" moment happened when AI broke down on narrative logic. When generating the commercial, the AI repeatedly rendered the gorillas standing upright in a neat queue, politely waiting for a table. Left to itself, AI gives you a literal, lifeless output. It took human instinct to recognize that a gorilla standing in line isn't just absurd, it's boring. I rejected the raw outputs, constructed character sheets to force visual consistency, established strict edit rules for the cuts, and built the chaotic story energy the campaign actually needed.
The technical execution required the same refusal to compromise. Prompting the Fronno logo as a single unit caused the generated cheese pull to swallow the text every single time. Instead of settling for a flawed output, I used Envato fonts for the base typography, generated the cheese pull element separately, and composited the final vector artwork cleanly inside Adobe Illustrator.
Across the project, I pulled from almost every layer of the Envato ecosystem: stock photos for the 20-pass mascot illustration, Envato Gen AI for texture and scene generation, Envato fonts for the brand design, mockup tools for the physical box, and Envato sound effects to drive the commercial's pacing. AI gave me the speed, but taste, technical intervention, and stubborn direction built the brand.
A machine and a stubborn human in one week.😊

Your process is just as impressive as the visuals.
Designing a table lamp inspired by Vietnamese “áo dài” and “nón lá” with @Envato at the centre of my workflow.
Starting from a black-and-white sketch, I built the lamp's ceramic base and rice-paper shade using Envato's AI toolkit, tagging reference materials directly so AI wasn't guessing at textures it can't always read from an image alone.
AI was great at generating options. It was not great at knowing which option was right; I rejected a full batch that technically worked but lost the silhouette I actually wanted, and hand-retouched a detail (the finial) that AI kept leaving unfinished.
The bigger call AI couldn't make: timing this launch to back-to-school season in Vietnam, when áo dài comes back out. That's not a style choice; it's a commercial one.

Great Submission!
I asked myself a simple question:
"When is human, human enough?"
And believe it or not, this challenge completely changed the way I think about creative thinking and AI assisted workflows.
Over the past few days, I have been sharing my journey here on @Contra and on X, asking people to contribute their thoughts on ideation, visual direction, and refinement. From classic pen and paper brainstorming to a fully realized product, every step happened within the limited timeline of the @Envato Challenge.
'Pause' is the brand I created for this challenge, it is the result of human creativity steering AI capabilities and the outcome goes far beyond simply generating visuals, it demonstrates what happens when intentional thinking guides powerful tools.
Using Envato's AI Suite, I built an entire brand from the logo and visual assets to the product campaign and even a motion design video. The experience exceeded every expectation I had.
The tagline, "PAUSE THE NOISE," was written by me. It does not just define the brand. It also reflects what I believe is the real message behind this challenge: pausing the noise around the idea that AI is here to replace creatives.
The human contribution was never just writing prompts. It was constantly questioning assumptions, pivoting from one idea to another, exploring different visual languages, selecting the strongest assets, directing the product campaign, shaping the motion design, and refining every output until it aligned with the vision. AI generated the assets. Human creativity gave them purpose.
I am so proud of the final result that I am now turning Pause into a detailed Contra case study.
My two cents:
AI is a tool. Like a sword, it is only as powerful as the person wielding it. In the hands of someone without vision, it loses its edge. In the hands of a creative thinker, it becomes a force multiplier. The future does not belong to AI alone. It belongs to people who know how to think, direct, and create with it.
