Concept Description
For this project, I chose the direction “CapCut as an Identity” and reimagined CapCut not as a video editing application, but as a digital personality from the future.
In my concept, CapCut transforms into a virtual AI idol — a character that combines artificial intelligence, creative thinking, and creator culture. I was inspired by modern trends in AI, virtual influencers, digital fashion, and futuristic branding.
I imagined that in the future, CapCut would become more than just a video editing tool, evolving into a true creative partner for millions of people. That is why the main character of the project is a female android with a natural human appearance and a technological body. She symbolizes the connection between human imagination and the possibilities of artificial intelligence.
The world of the project is built around the idea that creativity is no longer limited by tools. In this world, AI helps people create, get inspired, and bring ideas to life faster than ever before. That is why the main slogan of the project is “AI From The Future”.
Visually, the project combines the aesthetics of luxury technology, futuristic fashion, and cinematic science fiction. For the visual identity, I designed a new logo inspired by energy, movement, and evolution. The color palette is based on electric blue tones, neon accents, and metallic surfaces that emphasize the technological nature of the brand.
In addition to the character, I created an entire ecosystem of the future around her: app interfaces, a website concept, branded merchandise, headphones, advertising posters, and visual materials. All of these elements demonstrate how CapCut could look if it became an independent digital personality and a cultural phenomenon of a new generation.
The main idea of my project is that CapCut is not just a video editing software. It is a digital creator of the future that inspires people to go beyond привычного and create a new reality through creativity and artificial intelligence.

CapCut The Art of the Cut reimagines CapCut as a Mediterranean heritage design maison, built on the oldest form of "cut and assemble" in history: the mosaic.
Long before timelines and keyframes, the Mediterranean was full of master editors. In Carthage and Roman Africa, artisans cut thousands of tiny stone tiles — tesserae — and placed them, fragment by fragment, into mosaics that still glow on the floors of the Bardo in Tunis two thousand years later. That is editing at its origin: take many small pieces, place them with intention, reveal a whole greater than its parts.
In this world, the scissors in the CapCut logo are no longer a UI icon — they are the artisan's blade. Every project is a mosaic, every cut is a tessera, every export is a masterpiece revealed. The palette is drawn from the coast: Sidi Bou Said cobalt, chalk white, sun-baked terracotta, and brass. The brand speaks slowly and confidently, like heritage — but moves like modern AI. It stays true to CapCut's spirit: still the creator's companion, the thing in your hands that turns scattered fragments into something whole. We just gave that idea a 3,000-year-old soul.
I built the entire identity inside CapCut Design Studio logo system, key visuals, packaging, merchandise, app UI, and brand story iterating with its AI agent directly on the canvas.

The Editor Behind Every Story
Concept
For this reinterpretation, I imagined CapCut not as a tool, but as a lifelong storyteller—the invisible editor helping us make sense of the moments that shape who we become.
The film follows a young man who discovers a letter written by his 10-year-old self. As he revisits the dreams, expectations, and promises contained in the letter, he realizes that while life did not unfold exactly as planned, every experience, relationship, and memory became part of a story still being written.
CapCut is reimagined as the editor behind every story—quietly helping us preserve, connect, and give meaning to the chapters of our lives.
Creative Process
The visual development began inside CapCut Design Studio, where I explored references and inspiration from the existing asset library to establish the emotional tone and visual language of the film.
Using Design Studio, I generated the key still images for each scene, developing the characters, environments, and cinematic moments that would form the narrative. These images became the visual foundation of the project.
The generated stills were then animated and sequenced in Runway to create motion, allowing the story to unfold through a series of interconnected moments and memories. Throughout the process, the focus remained on creating an emotional journey that reflected the film's central idea: that every life is a story still being edited.
