Creating with AI is easy. Creating with intention is the real challenge.
For this project, I created a luxury product campaign for UV Blue using Envato as my primary creative toolkit alongside AI-assisted workflows.
The most important part wasn't generating visuals—it was making the creative decisions AI couldn't. From refining the concept and directing the story to rejecting outputs that didn't feel premium, every key decision came down to human judgment.
This is my take on Human by Design: using AI to accelerate creativity while relying on taste, instinct, and experience to shape the final result.

By day I'm a product designer, buried in OKRs and dashboards. This challenge pulled me back to the creative side of design, and that reconnection was pure joy. Enjoying the process. A human exclusive.
I kept asking one question: what can a human do that an agent can't? An agent always moves from A to B. Take away the goal and it ceases to exist. A human can choose to do nothing, on purpose. Just exist.
So I designed nøne: a meditation app that sells you no benefit, tracks no streak, asks nothing of you. Based on the philosophy of Byung-Chul Han and Ailton Krenak, it treats doing nothing as the last thing that can't be automated.
Built with Envato assets, Figma, and the help of Claude for the copy. But the taste, the humor, and every "no" on the page are mine.

What started as a poster for a local Longboard Fest turned into a creative playground.
I began by generating an illustration from two reference images. After a LOT of iterations, I finally found the direction I was looking for.
Then I experimented with Envato's Style Transfer, exploring different visual styles until one really stood out.
My first idea was simple: place the poster into mockups and animate a flyer falling onto the sand. But once I saw it... it just didn't feel right.
So I changed direction.
While browsing Envato's video templates, I found one with layered posters. Instead of choosing a single design, I decided to animate five different versions of my poster.
That unexpected decision completely transformed the final result, and became my Human by Design moment.
AI helped me explore possibilities, but the creative direction, the decisions, and the final story were entirely human.

For the Contra × Envato Human by Design Challenge, I wanted to explore what happens when human creativity leads and AI follows.
I started with a Moodboard, explored countless AI generations, and realized something:
They had the substance but they didn't have the heart.
AI helped refine the artwork, but the vision, personality, and decisions behind Nocti were always human.
