I put together a quick visual identity exploration for @Elis Cole after seeing their brief and spending time thinking about how the artist’s sound and personality could translate into a cohesive visual world.
Instead of making it overly literal, I explored two distinct directions:
Cool and moody A darker, more atmospheric direction with a restrained and cinematic tone.
Warm and energetic A brighter, more vibrant system with more movement, warmth and immediacy.
The goal was to show how one artist identity can hold different emotional expressions while still feeling cohesive and recognizable.
This is the kind of work I love: translating sound, feeling and personality into a visual language that can live across cover art, social media, promotional material and future creative direction.
Would love to know which direction feels stronger for Elis Cole: Cool and moody or Warm and energetic?
Cool and moody feels stronger to me. It gives Ellis Cole a more distinctive, memorable identity, while the warm direction could work really well as a secondary visual language for specific releases or campaigns.
Letter — Visual Identity for a Multinational Company
For Letter, I built the mark around two interlocking loop forms — a subtle nod to connection and precision, the kind of detail that makes a logo feel deliberate at a glance.
I developed the full system from there: wordmark, icon mark, a bold orange-and-black palette, and mockups across ID badges, business cards, lanyards, and even a smartwatch — showing the brand holding its identity everywhere it lands.
