Just wrapped up a custom lettering project I’m really proud of and it reminded me how powerful subtle typographic refinement can be.
Typography is rarely “finished” out of the box. The magic usually happens in the refinement: adjusting proportions, correcting rhythm, refining spacing, redrawing curves, balancing stroke weights, and creating custom interactions between letters.
Even the smallest typographic decisions can completely change how a brand feels. A strong wordmark should feel owned!
Will share the final logo once the brand launches 👀
This is Nice, design that will make us realize design is more about refinement than decoration.
