Mussel Shell began with a simple natural geometry: two protective surfaces opening to reveal the space between them.
This film explores the darker side of the concept. The architecture appears gradually through landscape, reflection and low light — less as a conventional building and more as an object discovered within its environment.
The contrast between the monumental exterior and the human scale is central to the project. Light, water, material and movement are used to reveal the form gradually rather than explain it at once.
Mussel Shell is part of INTERIONAIRE’s ongoing exploration of architecture beyond conventional typologies — creating spaces with their own identity, atmosphere and sense of arrival.
