Inkfolio is a web portfolio for digital illustrator Maya Chen where every section of the portfolio is a page of a physical comic book. The experience starts with a closed comic on the cover, opens page by page through work, process, testimonials, and services, and ends with "THE END" — the back cover of the book.

The template is designed to work for any creative professional — illustrators, photographers, directors, designers — just swap the content and keep the comic format. How I used Stitch: STREAMING GENERATIONS: Used a single master prompt to generate all 10 screens simultaneously, watching Stitch stream each panel directly to the canvas in real time.

IN-PLACE AI EDITS: Refined specific screens using targeted follow-up prompts — adjusting the Process Manifesto layout, fixing the cover illustration style, and tuning the bottom navigation bar per screen.

NATIVE MOTION & HTML CANVAS: Requested CSS animations directly in prompts — skill bar fills, hover lift effects on archive cards, pulsing CTA buttons, and continuous speed line rotation on the cover and finale screens.

EXPORT TO LOVABLE: Used Stitch's Lovable integration to export the complete HTML/CSS codebase and deploy a live URL for the submission.

DESIGN SYSTEM: The Electric Noir system (#000000, #FFD600, Bangers, halftone) was specified in the initial prompt and Stitch maintained consistency across all 10 screens automatically. Feedback on Stitch: What worked exceptionally well: — Single-prompt generation of 10 consistent screens is genuinely impressive. The design system held across all screens without repetition. — The image generation quality for noir illustrations was outstanding — moody, cinematic, on-brief. — Streaming to canvas makes the generation feel alive and collaborative, not just "waiting for output."

Areas for improvement: — Follow-up prompts often create new screens instead of editing the existing one. An explicit "edit this screen" mode would significantly improve iteration flow. — Hotspot navigation (linking buttons to specific screens) gets disrupted when screens are regenerated — the links break and need manual reconnection. — The bottom navigation bar (fixed position elements) sometimes doesn't render in prototype preview mode, even when specified in the prompt. More reliable fixed-position support would help. — A "lock this screen" feature would prevent accidental regeneration of screens that are already approved.
