I created and edited this short-form video with a strong focus on storytelling, audience retention, and visual pacing.
My editing process included selecting the strongest moments, creating an engaging hook, adding captions and text overlays, improving audio, adding music and sound effects, and using transitions to maintain a smooth flow.

This reel for @afterluc was a chance to play a little more with the visual language we usually use for his content.
It’s a fun “get ready with me” piece that opens with a teleport effect and moves into a faster, more playful edit. Since Luc’s profile normally leans toward a cleaner and more minimalist aesthetic, I pushed the typography further here, using bolder text treatments and more expressive motion without losing the visual identity we’ve built around his content.
The goal was to make the edit feel energetic and entertaining while still polished, using pacing, text, sound and small visual moments to support his personality rather than overwhelm it.
I really enjoy projects like this because they show how a consistent visual identity doesn’t have to mean doing the same thing every time. Sometimes the right choice is knowing exactly where you can break the rules a little.

A recent horizontal piece created for @afterluc as we begin exploring a new direction together beyond short-form social content.
Luc’s visual language has always leaned toward minimalism, elegance and restraint, so the edit was built around that same feeling. The focus here was on keeping the pacing fluid, letting the images breathe, and using captions as part of the visual composition rather than treating them as an extra layer on top of the video.
I worked on the edit, pacing, caption treatment, sound, color and overall visual rhythm, keeping everything clean and intentional while still giving the piece enough movement to hold attention.
This format is also a small preview of where we’re heading next. We’re starting to develop more horizontal and YouTube-focused content together, bringing the same refined visual identity into longer storytelling.
For me, it’s an interesting shift: keeping the simplicity and personality that already define Luc’s content while adapting the language for a format that gives the story more room to breathe.
