Imagine a "daily pal" for AR or desk tablets—managing tasks and routines through natural gestures instead of a mouse. For #FigmaMakeathon, I moved beyond static design to build a live-synced prototype proving the potential of spatial interaction.
I stepped out of the standard use cases for #FigmaMake with a robust output layer for custom computer vision. Custom MediaPipe script translates gestures into data. Supabase holds the system state in real-time. Figma Make consumes that data to trigger complex, animated changes.
This experiment reframes prototyping for AR/VR—using the design tools we love and new interactions. Prototype (you won't be able to try without my script, check video) And yes, I don't code.

Thanks everyone, for support and interest. For those who asked about workflow and how to recreate, it's a little too long for post here, so I'll try to do a case study over the weekend and post it on Medium next week https://medium.com/@uxraspberry

It's good, but why should a user have to learn your language? Why must they remember your script, and what analysis shows that your script is user-centred? Additionally, a user can't always sit upright in front of a screen; it’s not practical for them to keep their hands in the...

These are good questions. I think tou took concept from differently perspective, which is cool too. The gestured recognition is not entirely new and used for AR, Google tablets, and many other cases. Here we exploring use case of Figma Make for these interactions. Along with...
