I just submitted my entry to the Figma Config Makeathon 🌊
Meet Driftkin — a soft water world where you draw small creatures, release them into a private pond, and let them venture into Wider Waters to meet other doodles and create little descendants.
The idea started from something simple: watching ink dissolve into water. There is something nostalgic and playful about it, like letting a small thought loosen from your hand and drift away.
A few things I’m proud of:
→ Doodles are detected by visible strokes, not invisible image boxes, so meetings only happen when creatures actually touch
→ The Venture transition, where a doodle leaves your private pond for the shared world, became the emotional core of the experience
→ Ripple Chain tracks each doodle’s parents and descendants over time
Built with Figma Make. The process was very iterative: first I made it feel good, then made it move, then gave it memory and relationships.
Driftkin is still a small experiment, but I loved building a space where drawing can feel playful, calm, and alive.

FoundIt — A Visual Memory Assistant for Your Home
I built FoundIt, an AI-powered visual memory assistant using Figma Make.
The idea came from a simple everyday frustration: we often remember what we own, but forget where we kept it. Keys disappear, passports get misplaced, chargers move between rooms, and important belongings end up in a "safe place" that we can never remember later.
The problem I wanted to solve was that physical objects are not searchable. While our digital files are organized and easy to find, our homes have no memory layer connecting items to locations.
With FoundIt, users can simply take a photo of an object, let AI identify it automatically, assign it to a room, and retrieve it later through search. Instead of feeling like a traditional inventory tool, I wanted the experience to feel more like Apple Photos meets Pinterest—a visual memory board for the things we own.
The biggest challenge was creating a frictionless experience. I wanted AI to do most of the work so users don't have to manually name, categorize, or organize every item.
Workflow:
📦 Take a photo → 🤖 AI identifies the item → 🏠 Assign a room → 🔍 Find it instantly later

Bloom Lab is a cozy virtual plant-breeding mini game where users can choose a seed, plant it, care for it, help it bloom, and create new hybrid plants by combining traits.
The idea started with a simple thought:
What if a plant-care game could feel calm, expressive, and a little magical?
In the game, each plant reacts through mood changes, care meters, facial expressions, and small interactions. Users can water the plant, give it sunlight, watch it grow, and eventually discover hybrid plants like Glowleaf, Honeybloom, and Dreamberry.
This project was also special for me because it was my first time using Figma Make, along with other AI-assisted tools/models during the process. It was exciting, but also challenging. I had to learn how to work with prompts, fix broken flows, manage component states, refine animations, and make sure the final experience still felt intentional as a design.
Some things I focused on:
Building a soft and cozy visual style
Creating reusable components and plant assets
Designing smooth micro-interactions
Making the care screen feel alive through plant expressions and idle animations
Creating branching outcomes based on seed and hybrid choices
This project taught me a lot about designing with AI tools not just generating screens, but guiding, correcting, and shaping the experience until it felt like my own.
It was a challenging but really fun learning experience, and I’m happy I pushed myself to participate.

🛰️ I just shipped Remora for the Figma Config Makeathon "a space debris cleanup game", built entirely in Figma and Figma Make with help of Sites.
PLAY NOW 💯 Remora - Let's Clean our Space 🚀
Right now, more than 27,000 pieces of debris are orbiting Earth. Broken satellites, lost bolts, leftover rocket stages and nobody's cleaning it up. It sounds distant, but it isn't: this debris threatens the satellites our GPS, communications, and weather systems depend on, and could eventually block our access to space entirely.
I named the project Remora; a small fish that swims alongside sharks, cleaning their surroundings. We're the remoras. Space is our ocean.
The Makeathon brief was "design something that improves the world," and I wanted my answer to be playable, not just a poster.
Some of what's under the hood:
🎮 Two game modes: a free-flying drone collector with zero-G physics and a station-based sorting game where you triage incoming debris into recycling shipments
🤖 Three AI-controlled drones compete alongside you on a live leaderboard, each with its own personality and skill level
✨ Particle bursts, thruster trails, and docking animations — built frame-by-frame on canvas, no game engine
🌍 An animated Earth companion that reacts with rotating messages as you play
📡 Satellites cross your flight path on real trajectories — hit one and you lose cargo and hull integrity
🔼 A milestone-based upgrade system (Speed Boost, Cargo+, Magnet Field, Shield) that triggers mid-flight without pausing the game
It won't clean the orbit. But if it makes one more person think about the mess we're leaving up there — it did its job.
